Wingback 100ml Hip Flask
The hip flask is iconic. A person's most trusted travel companion, worth its weight in gold (or bourbon). The classic rectangular shape and small spout hit popularity in prohibition, but Wingback believes they could create a flask that celebrates its contents in a more user-friendly, less leaky, easier to clean, more durable way.
With a seamless, cylindrical design, the Wingback hip flask is robust, resilient and adventure ready. At a 100ml capacity, it’s the ultimate travel companion, designed to serve you on any journey as well it does at home.
For an additional £10, you can request an inscription on the bottom of the flask (maximum 50 characters). Please note, all inscriptions use capital letters.

The Details:
- 100ml/3.4 fl.oz. capacity and a weight of 180g/6.35 oz.
- Include your own personalisation on the base of the flask. Just select one of the inscription rewards on the right.
- Manufactured to aerospace standards in the UK, from food grade 316 Stainless Steel, sourced from Europe, that will not alter the flavour of its contents.
- A large lid and removable base makes filling, drinking and cleaning simple.
- The lip detail has been designed to give the perfect pour. Whether for a drip to taste or to pour a decent measure, you won’t get any spillage.
- Includes a lip detail on the base of the flask that serves as a handy bottle opener.
- Unbroken cylindrical design to eliminate risk of leakage and seam splitting.
- Hermetically sealed with a silicone washer and a bespoke dual contact seal to eliminate leaks.
- CNC machined from a stainless steel bar, including custom knurling for the ideal ergonomic and aesthetic finish.
- All parts are dishwasher safe.

Design and Functionality
Standard flasks are about as seaworthy as a leaky boat. They’re typically made from sheets of metal that are then formed and soldered together. This leaves weak points that can split, meaning you end up wringing out your jacket just to get a taste. They are also incredibly difficult to fill (even with a funnel), their contents glugs out when you’re trying to take a sip, and are basically impossible to clean.
Addressing these functionality issues shaped the design of The 100ml Hip. Wingback eliminated the seams with an unbroken cylindrical design, CNC machined from stainless steel for ultimate precision and strength. It’ll still slip into your pocket and will probably last longer than you will.
A large lid and removable base makes filling and pouring mess-free, and every nook and cranny can be easily cleaned.
At a capacity of 100ml and weighing in at 180g, our flask is large enough to share a sip between friends but small enough to carry with you for your whole journey. And as a little bonus, a lip detail was added on the base of the flask that serves as a handy bottle opener when you need to crack open a beer.
Personalisation
Some space is available on the base for you to add your own personalisation. Each unpersonalised flask will read "FOR YOUR JOURNEY". If you choose a personalised option then you can replace this text with your own inscription of up to 50 characters.
Our Materials
Wingback decided to make the flask from 316 stainless steel. With an elastic modulus of 200 GPa. It is incredibly strong, robust and highly corrosion resistant to acids, alkalis and chlorides. It will confidently withstand almost anything you can throw at it without ever losing a shade of its original glory. Along with the food-safe seals in the lid and base, all parts are dishwasher friendly and will not alter the taste of your drink.
Engineering
The metal designs are custom made from start to finish and we're proud to make this product in the UK. A solid block of stainless steel is CNC machined to produce incredibly precise parts which are a pleasure to use. Each one is individually inspected and tested to ensure it will withstand the test of time. Our manufacturing partner make predominantly aerospace components and have BS EN AS 9100 accreditation.
